The lazy days of Summer

We have been pretty lazy here at this house. I certainly do enjoy it though. This summer we have been a little busier than we normally are. We went to the beach and Jt and I chaperoned youth camp with our church. That was such a fun week. Here are some pictures from our summer.

Miss Boss had a dance recital this summer. She LOVES to take dance. It is one of her favorite things to do. Isn't she beautiful?

The fourth of July is my most favorite holiday. We went to the parade on Saturday, cookout and swam. Then on Sunday we went to see the fireworks.


We were very lucky to spend a week at the beach. Captain Drools did not like the beach and he really doesn't care too much for the pool either. He told me all week "I wanna pay (play) cars". I spent a lot of the week inside.
We loved being beachfront. We ate our meals outside. Miss Boss and I also set out there for hours telling stories. It was my most favorite part of our vacation.

So much going on....

In the last several months we have been very busy. The kids have both had birthdays, we have had spring break, we have celebrated Easter, and Miss Boss finished her first year of preschool. We have also survived another soccer season. The kids have kept me busy and I have loved every minute of it. I am happy to say that hubby and I are both out of work for a couple of months :). Here are some pictures from the last couple of months. Well, I guess long then a couple of months since it has been quite sometime since I have blogged.


This is my favorite picture of the 2 of them. Captain Drools just got angry and tried to punch Miss Boss. As you can see she is angry.

I have totally neglected my blog. I have been very busy with work and loving and playing with my babies. We have also all been sick. It looks like we are finally all feeling better. I am hoping that soon I will update my blog regularly. I hate blogging without pictures. It is no fun for me and since I have lost my camera cord that goes to my camera I have no pictures to post. It looks like this weekend I am going to go find something to help me. I have pictures on my camera from this summer so when I start blogging watch out. There will be a lot to talk about.

Sounds like a bunch of excuses, huh?
